Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, run by the Sussex Wildlife Trust, has recorded more than 4,000 species. It is open all day, every day, with five accessible bird hides and the Discovery Centre with its Lime Kiln Café; Camber Castle, built by Henry VIII, stands within the reserve.
