About The Hobgoblin
The Hobgoblin, at 31 York Place, was first built in 1865 and rebuilt in 1905–06 as a large pub and hotel frontage, a good example of its Edwardian style in the words of Brighton & Hove City Council’s local heritage list: four rendered storeys under a hipped clay-tile roof with tall chimneys.
