About Hove: the area guide

Hove, Brighton’s calmer western neighbour, has the grand Regency architecture of Brunswick Square and Adelaide Crescent, the lawns and beach huts of the seafront, and, on Church Road, some of the best restaurants in Sussex, led by Maré’s MICHELIN star.

Regency Hove

Brunswick Square, Brunswick Terrace and Adelaide Crescent.

The seafront

Hove Lawns, the beach huts, Rockwater, Marrocco’s and Hove Beach Park.

Walk the seafront from the West Pier to Hove Lagoon.

Church Road

Maré, etch., Wild Flor and Stem; St Ann’s Well Gardens and Hove Park nearby.

Our advice: lunch on the front, dinner on Church Road.
