About The Downs Link

The Downs Link runs from St Martha’s Hill in Surrey to Shoreham-by-Sea, following two disused railway lines closed in the 1960s, through the Low Weald and the South Downs. It is surfaced throughout, though uneven in places, and links with the South Downs Way. From Shoreham, follow it up the Adur valley for a flat walk or ride beside the river.

Why it's on our list
