About The Almonry

The Almonry, a stone’s throw from the abbey, has probably stood on its site since the town was laid out around 1090. Restored and owned by Battle Town Council, it houses the Tourist Information Point, exhibitions, a model of the town, the MLXVI Tapestry by local artist Tina Greene (gifted in 2024) and award-winning gardens.
