About Stokes Bay

Stokes Bay is a pebble beach in a conservation area, with views across the Solent, a children’s playground and splash park, adventure golf, cafés and kayak and paddleboard hire. It played a key part in the D-Day preparations, remembered by a memorial to the Canadian and British troops who embarked here in 1944.
