About Portsmouth and Southsea
Portsmouth is Britain’s island city, built on Portsea Island between two harbours. Its Historic Dockyard holds the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and HMS Warrior; Old Portsmouth keeps its harbour-mouth defences and pubs; Southsea has the castle, the common, Canoe Lake and the theatres and bars of Albert Road.
