Muster Green
A Civil War battlefield
About Muster Green
Muster Green, the western gateway to Haywards Heath, was the site of a skirmish in the Civil War. A conservation area since 1979 and in the town council’s care since 1987, it has traditional flowerbeds, an avenue of fine trees, Victorian and Edwardian houses around it and the War Memorial at its apex.
